I’ve been working on this video since mid November 2022 and I’m finally getting it posted to my YouTube channel and wanted to share it here on the NabuNetwork.com website. Enjoy!

NABU Network Internet Adapter Software
Today myself and a couple friends have started working on a dedicated Internet Adapter software project for use with NabuNetwork.com but will also support other NABU cloud based services like DJ Sures Nabu.ca website.
The idea behind wanting to create an Open Source Internet Adapter solution was for one simple reason… to make sure the NABU online community doesn’t have a single point of failure with one cloud based website.
Yes, you read that correctly. NabuNetwork.com will be offering up cloud based access to the official NABU cycle of software as preserved by Leo Binkowski, however our NABU Internet Adapter software will also work with local “offline” access along with a few other cool things to be detailed out in future blog posts.
As an added bonus, our NABU Internet Adapter software source code will be provided to those who like to hack and create interesting software for retro computers, and additional customizations are highly encouraged. Creating an open community that fosters sharing is a top priority for NabuNetwork.com, since this is a community effort after all.
More information to come, so keep an eye on the NABU Network blog. NABU forever!
NABU Games Programmer Leo Binkowski – September 1984
On December 1, 2022 NABU games programmer Leo Binkowski posted a really awesome video to his YouTube channel:
From Leo’s video description:
“September 29, 1984 CJOH TV “Regional Contact” Leo Binkowski of NABU, 6:50pm
For those interested in all things NABU. This is a profile a local TV station did on me which show me, my colleagues, my development system, and our office on Baxter Road in Ottawa.”

Hello world!
On November 15, 2022 I was given a heads up by Adrian about some retro New Old Stock vintage NABU Personal Computers for sale via eBay. After some discussions about what the computers could or couldn’t do, I decided “yep, I need to get one!”
Fast forward to November 26, 2022 when Adrian’s Digital Basement posted a video about the NABU PC on his channel, the vintage NABU computer frenzy began!
With all of the excitement surrounding the NABU Personal Computer and multiple people starting to develop open source solutions, I wanted to do my part and contribute to the community, so I registered this domain and will start to build out a nice “all things” NABU related website.
Update: December 12, 2023 blog post – A brief history on the 2022 NABU Computer craze
